Yea, I had that too.  While I questioned the capsule compared to the tv show intro, I never really let it bother me...
Even as a kid I always questioned the durability of the General Lee...
Sometimes I think this would be a perfect "ok, I'm ready to abandon civilization" escape.  Then I remember that they had way too many visitors and were still stuck there with no way off...
You could always try and move in with the Sentinelese tribes. You probably wouldn't get too far, so sharing an uncharted island with this wouldn't be too bad...
It's getting lonely on that island...
I wonder if he accepted coconuts as payment...
Not to worry if he doesn't, there's a tv show they can still be on.

ps.  This is Scott Ian's cameo...
Wow, his looks have gone down hill quite a bit...
It's kinda expected when you start having kids and get no sleep...
Seriously? She actually has an inferior group on her jacket...
You've heard the latest, right?  That penis head Gene has filed for a patent on the most used hand gesture in rock...
That should get shot down real quick. This guy here is the one who started it and he learned it from his grandmother...
There's tons of articles on that now and one of the best quotes that I saw was from Carl Canedy:  "Gene is looking to trademark a three-fingered symbol. The fans I’ve spoken to seem to be responding with a one-fingered salute."

So the hand gesture that dick head has tried to patent has the thumb out stretched, not tucked in to cover the middle two fingers.  So first off, he's got it totally wrong.  And secondly, that gesture is actually the ASL sign for "I love you".  So no, I don't think that one is going to get past the patent office.

Meanwhile, related to Rock gestures, I think John Lennon even has Dio beat...
That's a tough one. Dio and Lennon were born within 2 years of each other ('42 and '40 respectively) and they both started their careers at the same time in '57...
Lennon still has Dio beat.  Yellow Submarine was 1969 and Dio didn't start using it on stage until 1979 when he replaced Ozzy in Sabbath and needed a new hand gesture to replace Ozzy's peace signs...

But you're right, Dio's granny has them both beat...
