This is the closest thing I could find to keep the trend going. However I did consider how sad car manufacturers are these days for not producing standard transmissions anymore....

Flappy paddles with only two pedals do not make it a standard transmission. Even high end sports cars went the way of the flappy paddles with no clutch...

True, but in "manual" mode revving up to 6,000 RPMs and flicking the paddle to the next gear happens a lot quicker than I could have ever done with a clutch and gear shift. I suppose having a double clutch helps...

I guess, from a purely performance standpoint. But there is a more satisfying enjoyment when the third pedal and a stick shifter come in to play...
