Oh man.. you picked an image from the Chuck Jones era. I thought he did a terrible job with Tom & Jerry. He was awesome for Looney Tunes though. Personally, the Fred Quimby T&J episodes are more refined and have much better personality and a much better musical score.

Sorry, I wasn't much of a T&J aficionado. I just liked the cartoon, it was just plain fun... Though, I will say, the best Looney Tunes are from the 40s.
