Uncle DT's Random Image Thread
Damn! Where'd you find that picture? I don't think I've ever seen the inside where it wasn't all dimly lit. Man, if that didn't bring back a flood of memories. I remember so many times after school we'd drive there and be first in line when doors opened. Then sprint down those steps and to the right to be front and center at the stage.

At 15, friends of my girlfriend were into heavy metal and thought I might like it. They got tickets for Metallica in October '86 and that's when Cliff Burton tragically died in September. It was rescheduled for Nov. 30th and while waiting for the doors to open their tour bus was coming up. With the crowd and stuff, I had my back to it and certainly didn't hear. Next thing I know I'm getting pushed along. That was kinda exciting...

I remember you telling me that Metallica was your first concert.  I'm not sure if that was a good thing or bad thing.  I mean to see them back in the day for Master of Puppets, before they ever made it huge and on the small stage is wild.  I mean all I can say is I saw them open for Dokken, but that was the Monsters of Rock and in a stadium when they were on their way up.

But that pic was on a page that existed as of last week.  I just tried to go there again and it's now a 404...

I remember that Monsters of Rock show. That was a blast.

It's weird that Agora page was removed from there. I hit the Internet Archive and was able to see it. I wonder what happened to make them remove that page.

Here's another blast from the past...
