Damn, I've been going deep looking for vids and every one of them really show that she's fitting in and Alex and Geddy are super happy to be back on stage and happy with their choice of who is sitting up on the drum riser.
And the set list is completely different each night, they're pulling songs out of the archives that haven't been played in years, then the next night a different set. I hate that tickets are so damn expensive though...

It's ridiculous how much the tickets are. They'll be in CT in November and the scalpers verified resellers are trying to sell $400 tickets for $1,100 and it's not even a sold out show. Even the $400 is way more than reasonable. How can a concert ticket cost 1/5 of your average rent? The problem are the stupid rich and the just plain stupid. If people actually complained with their wallets and didn't go to these shows then prices would come down. But instead, people complain and then say "oh well, it is what it is" and fork over the money.
Accounting for inflation, $400 today would be like spending $200 back in 1999. Although, the Iron Maiden tickets I got, if I compare it to the last time I saw them on their Somewhere on Tour back in '87, it would have been equivalent to a $43 ticket. A bit on the high end, but manageable...
You're going to see Maiden? That's awesome! I've come to the realization that shows are just getting far too expensive and that cost diminishes my enjoyment more than it should. So I'm opting out on a few shows that I would love to see, Maiden being one, and Rush is the other. But I have seen both enough times that I'm ok with that decision.
Gone are the days of the $12.50 ticket with no extra fees tacked on. (Except maybe the $1 that Harvest got from me each time for their fees. And that I was ok with, they're a local business and $1 is reasonable...)

Yeah. It's been decades since I've been to a metal concert and I hem'd and haw'd whether I should go and in the end decided why not. It'll be interesting...
