Uncle DT's Random Image Thread
At first, I thought wow, how awesome!!  You found a place.  But I don't think they would sell that ski resort.  Now, on the other hand, mom and dad are looking to sell the VT property some time soon.  It's in southern VT and if I remember, has a hill.  I think it's just 15 acres however and is completely undeveloped.  I can find out more if you want, or you can always give them a call, they would love to talk to you anyway.

I suppose he could just cover the entire driveway with snowmen made from his snow making machine...

He's already done that among other things to keep Dad from getting out of the driveway.  But without the machinery, he needs snow first...

It's a good thing our star wasn't much bigger.  I know of one that would put our puny rock under the surface...

The immense scale of all things in our universe is at times almost incomprehensible. When you look at the scale difference from the tiny quarks that make up our matter to the largest stars, that number doesn't even make sense.

Smallest (neutrino): 0.000000000000000000007 (meters)
Largest (UY Scuti): 2,370,000,000,000 (meters)

That's a factor of 338,571,428,571,428,571,428,571,428,571,428:1

You see... it's a big freaking number that doesn't make any sense. Our monkey caveman brains just look at that as noise and discard it as meaningless. Still fascinates me though...

So a huge source of greenhouse gases is cow.  So the solution is to eat more beef.  So why is Chick-Fil-A's marketing against that....
