Anyone who uses "alpha" or "beta" to describe themselves or someone else... Ugh!
Our scenario would have been like if your arm or leg was crushed and the only option was amputation. Would you ask the surgeon if you could keep it since you wanted to cook it up? Granted, there's a huge psychological barrier to bust through but in the end we both think we would go for it.
With a nice spiral ham, I know your stance on peas, but forgot your stance on split pea soup. Because there's nothing like a homemade split pea soup made from the bone of spiral ham. And the chunks of potato and ham - it's just good stuff...
