That's pretty much one reason I've never been to the distillery, I'm not a fan of that type of liquor. Something else that may be funny is no matter how many times I visit a brewery I will do a tour. I know how beer is made, I don't need someone to show me around and explain the process. But it's fun to talk to people in the business and ask questions. I'll often ask the bartender or waitress if they do tours. If they say no, I'll ask if the brewer is there then ask them. Fun secret, if they're not in the middle of some busy process, they will usually take you around and show you everything. Unless it's a corporate owned / chain brewery, those usually have corporate rules to keep people away from the equipment "for safety reasons". But the small local breweries will usually be pretty happy about showing a customer everything because they're pretty excited about it in the first place and want to share that enthusiasm.
