My neighbor across the street and I started to make a stop motion movie with army men.  We cut all the arms, legs and heads off of army men, inserted wires and reattached everything.  Then ran into a cost limitation.  After a roll of film, the motions were erratic so looked horrible and we couldn't afford more film and processing to reshoot everything.
